Arwen

Arwen Undomiel was born in year 241 of the Third Age to Elrond, the lord of Imladris, and Celebrian. She was said to have been incredibly beautiful, and the ones that saw her marveled at her, thinking it was Luthien who had returned to Arda. Her alias ‘Undomiel’ means ‘Evening star’ in Sindarin. Arwen spent almost three thousand years in Rivendell, in the household of Elrond, only going to Lorien at times to visit Galadriel. In year 2951 she met Aragorn, and they got married after the War of the Ring. She was the second of Elf-maidens to make the choice of marrying a mortal man; and although her life was unusually long, she died in year 121 of the Fourth Age, Aragorn having died a year before.
