Elanor Gamgee

Elanor Gamgee, often called Elanor the Fair for her locks of sparkling golden hair, was the eldest daughter of Samwise Gamgee and Rose Cotton. She was renown for her beauty, and indeed so fair was her face that many mistook her for an Elf-maid.

Some time after she was made maid of honor to Queen Arwen, she married Fastred of Greenholm of the Far Downs. Later they took up their abode in Undertowers, in the Tower Hills, an their descendants, the Fairbairns, lived there for many generations to come.
