Rosie Cotton

Rosie was the daughter of Tom Cotton, who was always reckoned by Frodo to be one of the most sturdy and trustworthy hobbits in the Shire. Sam Gamgee was in love with Rosie even before she left the Shire, and when he returned from his journey to Mordor, he asked Rosie to marry him. Their wedding took place on May 1st, 1420, and their first daughter Elanor was born on March 25th, 1421.
